The second trailer of Akshay Kumar starrer Jolly LLB 2 is here and unlike the first trailer which had ample amount of goofiness and drama, this one mainly focuses on the seriousness of it.

The second trailer of Akshay Kumar starrer Jolly LLB 2 is here and unlike the first trailer which had ample amount of goofiness and drama, this one mainly focuses on the seriousness of it. And unlike the previous one has the storyline at its centre. It starts with the stats of the law and order in India. The various court cases, the number of judges in the country and how people solve their matter. On one side if there is injustice done to all the poor and needy people which was there in the first part. On the other side it tackles with corruption and gives a feel of patriotism. Which is the case with most Akshay Kumar starrers in recent times, barring Housefull 3. What I liked about its previous trailer was the perfect blend it had of goofiness and harthitting cinema as the same thing worked in the favour of the Arshad Warsi starrer Jolly LLB. But this one takes itself too seriously, which was unexpected and not required. And I hope the movie is less of what we see in the second trailer and more of the first trailer. Because as the song goes, ‘for he’s Jolly good fellow’…right?

A sequel to much loved surprise hit of 2013; Jolly LLB, the film won two National awards and starred Arshad Warsi in the titular role. This time, the title role is played by Akshay Kumar and the makers have a huge responsibility to go one notch higher on the previous one. And if one goes by the trailers, then Subhash Kapoor, the director of both the films has managed to do what many couldn’t. He has taken the sequel higher by leaps and bounds. The sequel also stars Huma Qureshi, Annu Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla who was also the part of the previous one.
